Superbowl of Smarts is a ten minute short film that my friend, Gavin Heslet and I created.  We went to the 2007 FIRST Championship in Atlanta to find the teams that we would follow in the feature-length documentary.  Choosing the teams proved to be very difficult because there were so many teams and each one had a compelling story. 

Throughout the three days we were there, we tended to gravitate to the teams there: Team 1583, Rambotics, the adjudicated team from Watkins, CO;  Team 1868, Space Cookies, the all-girl Girl Scout/NASA Team; Team 2024, Kekoa E Haaheo, the dynamic, infectious team from Hilo, HI; Team 2274, The Blazing Phoenix,  the underdog team from Bronx, NY.
