Proving that math and engineering aren’t just for boys these young women are paving the way for a new generation of female engineers. Uniquely partnered with NASA these Girl Scouts are given the opportunity to work in NASA’s state of the art Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. The girls take pride in the fact that they are a student led team, designing, building, and operating their robot with very little assistance. Their attention to detail, and sensitivity show the importance of women in the field of engineering.
